Although German born, founder Salvatore Rizza relocated to Italy where he was raised in the beautiful region of Sicily. After graduating from the Milan School of Fashion in 2011 he moved to Paris and embarked on an internship at Giambattista Valli’s studio in addition to holding roles at fashion powerhouses Philosophy, Pucci and Max Mara, honing his craft in haute couture until founding his own label Des Phemmes in 2019. Rizza’s inspiration for the brand originates from both the notions of femininity as well as the art of transformation through dressing.
