It’s very wearable too and I can easily see myself wearing it far into autumn with a pair of boots and knitwear."

"I don't necessarily approach the sale with a shopping strategy (unlike some of my team members!) but I do tend to shop with less of an occasion in mind and am just drawn to pieces that I know i'll wear and brands that I already turn to often as they suit my shape and style. Aya Muse is a real favourite of mine and this floor-sweeping cardigan is great for layering all year round. Yes, it's a cardigan but this is a luxe cardigan! This set from Paris Georgia is currently sitting in my basket ready to purchase, I love pastel shades and it's a gorgeous alternative to an event dress. Lastly you can never have too many pumps – a must have when you're dashing between meetings but need something smarter than sneakers. This pair from Aeyde are crafted in super soft leather and would be ideal for meetings and weekend brunches".

Sales are, however, my weak spot, and it’s where I fall head over heels for items that might usually be a little out of my budget. I’ve snapped up this denim set from cool-girl brand Magda Butrym. I love that it’s so clearly a Magda style and has all the sculptural and sexy hallmarks of what makes the brand so distinctive. This organza jacket from Coperni feels uber special and fits nicely into my existing fairly monochrome wardrobe, the same for this Song for the Mute beaded skirt. I know I’d wear this all the time whether leaning into its grungy vibe or giving it a ladylike spin on the rare occasion I’m wearing heels!"
