Modern beauty with Jude shoes
17th September, 2025

Chances are you’ve already seen a Jude shoe, maybe before you even knew which brand it was. Founded just a year ago, by Jurgita Dileviciute and Denitsa Bumbarova, Jude has risen stratospherically, thanks in no small part to their iconic Fame heel, which graced the covers of influential publication, ‘How To Spend It’, before the shoe even launched. The cover star who was photographed wearing the pair? None other than Kim Kardashian. Quite the scoop. Editors and taste makers alike rightfully raced to snap up the statement style, and – far from a flash in the pan – Jude has remained a firm favourite ever since. The brand’s impeccable design and quality stands out just as much as any celebrity following. We spoke to the founders, ahead of the launch of their Autumn '25 collection to learn more…
Fabric of Society: You launched your brand just a year ago and are going from strength to strength. How did it feel to launch your own label and what do you think it is about your designs that resonates with women so much right now?
Jude: Thank you! To start our very own brand felt both liberating and ambitious. Maybe what resonates is that our collections are made for real life. We want women to put together their everyday outfits with ease, almost without thinking, and to allow them to focus on living their best life while feeling like themselves.
Just as important, we introduced our vision at the right moment, which is always a game changer in fashion. You might come up with the most innovative design, but if it’s not relevant to the times, no one will care for it. We watch everything that is available out there, so our design stems from a deeply informed instinct to fulfil a real need.
FoS: We always love to delve into the design process. Can you tell us a bit more about your design and development?
Jude: Inspiration can come from anywhere, and the materials we use are definitely the key. They drive design because the softness and beauty in leather is something we cherish so much. We source only from the best tanneries of Italy and France and make no compromise on quality.
The two of us have a super fruitful, dynamic collaboration, and our process is set as an intentional take on modern myths. We are always searching for a new language, a new way of seeing, for something subtle yet powerful. We like to challenge the perceptions of what's minimal, what is sensual, and sometimes even challenge our own taste.
FoS: Is there anywhere you tend to visit to immerse yourself and get inspiration from ahead of designing a new collection?
Jude: We are curious about people in general and like to imagine how their lives are. Both inspiration and designing are constant, we never take a break because we love what we do. Ideas can come from anywhere really, movies, feelings, the latest news, we try to stay culturally in sync with everything that’s going on and always keep an open mind.
FoS: There are so many great shoe styles in your newest collection – team FoS is already fighting over them! Please can you talk more about the AW25 collection?
Jude: This is our first Winter season and the collection is a seamless blend of earth tones with exquisite leathers, dusty cashmere suedes, nubuck, and buttery nappa. Kind proportions paired with striking details are meant to intrigue a strong, singular mind.
FoS: We always ask our designers to choose a favourite piece from their collection. What’s yours?
Jude: Our all-time favorite will always be the Fame pump because it landed on the cover of The Financial Times “How To Spend It” over a month before we launched our own website, an immense validation which meant a lot for our team. It is kind of funny that the style lived up to its name, when we were actually referencing David Bowie’s song.
Fame is the perfect representative of Jude in the way it walks the edge of what is expected from a classic pump. We love the curved heel and have translated its attitude to other styles like the Cave boot, for example.
FoS: Lastly, how do you want women to feel when they wear your styles?
Jude: What’s really important is to feel like yourself, even when risking a bit of change. Sometimes a really striking pair of heels will give the perfect attitude to an otherwise basic jeans and white t-shirt look. Other times you might need a go-to classic pump or kitten heel to seamlessly blend into an already bold outfit. We believe in enjoying fashion yet not letting it overpower, it should be used as a tool to express and to feel good.
