Spring fashion should be fun and 16Arlington certainly got the memo this season. The SS25 collection is awash with smile-inducing oversize sequins, sheer fabrics and dramatic gowns. It’s beautiful fashion that makes you feel something, and this has helped the label go from strength to strength. If you’ve not discovered their designs yet, what are you waiting for? That 2025 diary is filling up fast and a 16Arlington piece is your shortcut to a night to remember.

Long a go-to label of the well-informed fashion editors and buyers, London-based 16Arlington’s popularity has now hit global status, as the brand creates designs that speak to a plethora of women – including those in the Middle East – whilst still creating a sense of joy. The brand’s co-founder and creative director, Marco Capaldo, puts the enduring love of the brand down to how the designs translate in the real world. “I love seeing our clothes exist and being worn in the real world”, he explains to Fabric of Society. “I like to think that our clothing evokes an emotion of confidence and joy and makes women feel like the best versions of themselves.”

The collection on Fabric of Society certainly does just that. The Ollal top, one of Marco’s favourite pieces from the selection, is a sheer, high-neck, sequin-covered design. “It’s versatile enough to be styled for both formal or more relaxed occasions and perfectly captures the ethos of 16Arlington: bold yet elegant”, he explains. Whether shopping for a wedding guest outfit or holiday wardrobe must-haves, we’re also vying for the Green Beatris Midi Skirt, a wrap around pencil style that flashes a panel of sequins at the thigh.

16Arlington’s growth in the Middle East seems a natural progression. Marco describes the archetypal 16Arlington girl as “not confined by age or occupation but defined by her confidence and authenticity”, and this attitude reflects the way women in the region dress more and more. He also, personally, has a great love and respect for the region. “What I admire most is the blend of tradition and modernity”, Marco reveals. “Women celebrate heritage while embracing new trends, with impeccable attention to detail in their styling. The layering, craftsmanship, and personal touches are captivating. It's inspiring to see how 16Arlington exists in the middle east. Fashion aside, I have a great love for middle eastern artisans, architecture, and interiors.”
