Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili’s jeans add an up-to-date feel to this season’s most-favoured wide-cut fit. Look to Copenhagen-based brand, Heliot Emil where a Scandinavian, simplistic aesthetic on the classic denim jacket shines through. Here we see a timeless, investment piece you’ll find yourself reaching for in years to come. Similarly, Material’s belted denim skirt, cut in a contemporary midi silhouette, has a sense of luxurious, sophistication surrounding it that pairs perfectly with relaxed tailoring.

Make a Statement

As denim continues to evolve each season with fresh takes on style, sustainability and design, we’re treated to more experimental ideologies and unexpected details. Offering a new approach to a classic form is Parisian design duo Coperni, showcasing a surprising layered panel element on their slim cut jeans which gives the illusion of a denim jacket when viewed from behind. Comparably, Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili’s jacket provides a double layered look with its built-in corset-inspired top. It’s apparent that the resurgence of double denim is here once more, lending itself to easy styling with co-ordinated pieces, bringing a level of understated, effortless style. Pay homage to the iconic styles of the noughties by pairing denim separates in similar tones for a trend that exudes laid-back co-ordination. Following the notion of unexpected aspects
is Material’s Structured Midi Dress, blurring the lines between a dress and a coat, this style is designed in classic indigo denim featuring a striking cut-out detail on the back.

Eclectic Energy

Showcasing elevated aspects such as dye techniques, patchwork and laser innovations, denim has never looked so progressive. Creating a strong sense of individuality, these cutting-edge designs reimagine denim’s role in a contemporary wardrobe and provide each wearer with the ability to their look iconic. Ionnes grey sprayed jeans come in a tonal-grey shade and feature a matching bolero jacket for a fully co-ordinated ensemble. The raw trim edges add a distressed element whilst the sprayed design elevates the final finish. Anne Isabella’s laser stripe denim blazer with matching trousers are cut from a fresh taupe cotton-blend and have a raw, textured feel
to their appearance. On a similar note, HODAKOVA’s patchwork jeans are designed with panels of block-tone denim, meticulously constructed to lend themselves to new-found cult status.
