This is where the style-set summer...

Who doesn’t live for summer? Warm days and long nights distract from the daily grind and of course, summer means vacation time. We spoke to Fabric of Society founder, Raheel Al Roudhan as well as visual creatives and style-focused multihyphenates Oumayma Elboumeshouli and Leena Al Ghouti.
Raheel Al Roudhan, CEO and founder of Fabric of Society
"As much as I love Kuwait, the heat can get a little too much in midsummer. That's when my family and I head to the south of France – our home away from home. A classic and world renowned for a reason, I love Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. The service is amazing and I will never tire of its feeling of old school glamour. But, to be honest, I would stay for the breathtaking views alone. As for what I wear, the joy of the south of France is its variety. One day I can wear a sequin encrusted gown from Simkhai and the next a minimalist set from Aya Muse. This is the place for people who love their outfits and dressing for the occasion just as much as the destination."

"For me, it will always be Morocco. Even though I didn’t grow up there, I spent almost every summer going there as a child, so it holds a special place in my heart. I love the contrast. You'll find the most luxurious and elegant spots like Amanjena in Marrakech – which is calm, serene, and the perfect place to unwind. But at the same time, you’re also surrounded by deep-rooted tradition. After soaking in the peace of Amanjena, I usually head to my mom’s side of the family, where everything is super traditional. And I love that. I love being able to experience both worlds; the refined and the raw, side by side. That’s the magic of Morocco."
Leena Al Ghouti, designer, stylist and content creator
“I always end up in Mar Mikhael when I’m in Beirut over the summer. There’s just something about it — the streets feel alive but never overwhelming, you meet the kindest and most talented people. I love walking around, grabbing coffee and sitting outside, and get inspired by the simplicity of it. The old authentic buildings make the atmosphere super cosy. It's also easy, a little nostalgic, and full of personality, kind of like how I like to dress when I’m there.”
